So finally A Journey for True Craftsmanship: The Making of Our Mirror Work Shirt”
Creating a masterpiece is never easy—especially when it involves intricate mirror work, or sheesha ka kaam, one of the most difficult and time-consuming hand embroidery techniques. Not every artisan is skilled or patient enough to do it, which is why we had to go far beyond the usual to find the right hands for this special piece.
Our journey took us all the way to Jalalpur, a place known for its deep-rooted tradition in hand embroidery. After searching and meeting many artisans, we were filled with joy to finally discover some of the best mirror work experts in the region. Women with generations of experience, steady hands, and an eye for perfection welcomed us with warmth—and began weaving their magic on fabric.
Each mirror was placed by hand, one by one, with care and precision. The shine you see is not just from the glass—it reflects the dedication, hours of labor, and the pride of the women behind it. Every stitch tells a story of heritage, patience, and passion.
This piece comes in ~3 meters of unstitched premium lawn fabric, designed for comfort and elegance. It is recommended to hand wash or dry clean to preserve the delicate craftsmanship.
This is not just a shirt. It’s a journey, a tradition, and a celebration of the unseen hands who make beauty come alive—one mirror at a time.
