After much thought and market research, we decided to source the fabric, handle the cutting, printing, and embroidery—all at an A1 level. We chose Bareeze lawn fabric and kept the cutting measurements in meters. Then we thought of getting Tarkashi (thread work) done. Traveling overnight, we reached Basti Malook early in the morning, handed over 300 trousers, and immediately returned to Lahore.
After five weeks, the trousers were ready. They were checked and then sent for ironing. Next came the printing phase. After printing, they went for embroidery, which took around 9 to 10 weeks to complete. Once finished, they went through the washing process.
Finally, when it was time for photoshoots, a new concern arose—we didn’t know how to edit, and some designs weren’t clear in the camera shots. But we made up our minds: we would post these pictures just as they were, without any edits.
